  • Node.js + TypeScript - you should be able to type a code that has no typing, know the difference between the type and the interface, and use asynchrony (async/await/promise) efficiently.
  • Rest, Microservices - you understand how services communicate and how you can communicate asynchronously between services.
  • Design Patterns - you can indicate and apply design patterns.
  • Software testing - you know at least one code testing tool, and you understand why writing tests is an important stage of software development.
  • Containerization - you can independently prepare a container containing the application and its necessary infrastructure (databases, queues, cache).
  • Troubleshooting - you can independently propose a solution to a given problem and estimate its strengths and weaknesses.

Nice to have:

  • Geospatial analysis and visualization: implementing algorithms and techniques for analyzing and visualizing geospatial data, such as spatial queries and map rendering.
  • GIS software development: design and develop GIS (Geographic Information System) software applications, including user interfaces, data input and output, and integration with external systems.
  • Geospatial web development: developing web applications using geospatial technologies such as web map libraries (e.g. Leaflet, Maplibre-gl-js).
  • Geospatial algorithms and modeling: working with routing and optimization algorithms.
  • Spatial database management: working with spatial databases such as PostgreSQL or PostGIS, including spatial indexing, query optimization and database administration.
  • Geospatial software testing and quality assurance: conducting thorough testing of geospatial software to ensure its functionality, performance and accuracy.
  • Spatial data integration: integrate geospatial data from various sources and formats, including data from GPS or other location-based services.
