Using gamification to change consumer habits

To encourage people to reduce food waste, Kitche awards users for using the app and cooking with what is available in their fridges in order to help build positive food-saving habits.
Smart recipe suggestions
The app can suggest recipes based on the ingredients available in a household, so instead of spending time browsing recipes, users can simply cook with what they already have in the fridge.
