We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect who can lead cloud transformation initiatives, design enterprise-grade architectures, and guide both internal and client stakeholders through their modernization journey. This role combines hands-on cloud engineering expertise with strategic architectural leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand business drivers and define cloud transformation goals.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and more.
- Define target-state architectures and create cloud migration or modernization roadmaps for legacy systems.
- Estimate cloud costs, support financial modeling, and contribute to pricing strategies alongside finance and sales teams.
- Identify technical and operational risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Advise internal and external teams on cloud best practices, DevOps principles, and optimized AWS service usage.
- Implement and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Automate cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
- Support application and environment migrations to AWS
- Ensure robust monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across cloud environments.
- Drive AWS cost optimization, high-availability strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Partner with development teams to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with industry standards (e.g., banking-grade security frameworks).
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture (3–5 years preferred for full scope of responsibilities).
- Proven ability to lead cloud migration or modernization programs for medium-to-large organizations.
- Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade, cloud-native solutions.
- Strong understanding of microservices, API management, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
- Solid knowledge of cloud security, scalability, governance, and cost optimization patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- English level: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (strongly preferred)
- Additional AWS or DevOps certifications are a plus (DevOps Engineer, Security, SysOps, Networking).
